Sales and Terms and Conditions as well as E-Commerce Terms for Gl. Ålbo Camping Below you will find useful information regarding all bookings made with Gl. Ålbo Camping via website, telephone, or e-mail. You can read about how we process your personal data, how you receive your booking confirmation/receipt, and much more. ________________________________________ 1. General These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with Gl. Ålbo Camping via website, telephone, or e-mail. By completing a booking, you accept these terms. ________________________________________ 2. Booking and Payment All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT unless otherwise stated. The full amount is payable at the time of booking. After completion of your booking, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. If you do not receive it, please check your spam/junk folder. Business customers may, by agreement, receive an invoice with a payment term of 8 days. Gl. Ålbo Camping reserves the right to cancel a booking in case of obvious and significant errors, including pricing or system errors. In such cases, you will be contacted as soon as possible. ________________________________________ 3. Right of Withdrawal Please note that booking of accommodation is not covered by the Danish Consumer Contracts Act rules on the right of withdrawal. The sale of accommodation (cabins, holiday homes, camping, etc.) is covered by a special exemption in Section 18(2)(12) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. Therefore, the booking is not subject to a 14-day right of withdrawal. The reason is that re-renting a reserved cabin/unit/space cancelled shortly before arrival is often not possible. ________________________________________ 4. Cancellation (without cancellation insurance) The following applies: • More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund minus a 500 DKK administration fee. • 60–30 days before arrival: 50% refund of the paid amount minus a 500 DKK administration fee. • 29–0 days before arrival: No refund. ________________________________________ 5. Cancellation Insurance Cancellation insurance can be purchased at the time of booking and costs 299 DKK per unit. The insurance must be purchased together with the booking. Illness In case of documented illness of the traveller(s) included in the booking (medical certificate) up to 12:00 on the day of arrival, the full amount will be refunded minus the cost of the cancellation insurance. Other cancellation For cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, the full amount will be refunded minus a 500 DKK administration fee. The cancellation insurance is non-refundable. ________________________________________ 6. Arrival and Departure Camping: • Arrival from 15:00 • Departure no later than 11:00 Cabins, holiday homes, rooms and glamping tents: • Arrival from 15:00 • Departure no later than 10:00 For late arrival, please contact reception in advance. ________________________________________ 7. Stay and Rules To ensure peace, safety, and a good experience for all guests, we kindly ask that the following rules are respected. Smoking All indoor facilities are non-smoking. Violation will result in a cleaning fee of 1,500 DKK. Dogs Dogs are very welcome but must always be kept on a leash and walked outside the premises. Owners must clean up after them. Respect for other guests is required. A cleaning fee applies in rental units. House rules Guests must show consideration for other guests and follow site rules. In case of serious or repeated violations, eviction may occur without refund. Quiet hours from 23:00 We are a place where nature, water, and togetherness are at the center – and mutual respect is a natural part of the experience. Therefore, all guests are asked to take responsibility for both their own behaviour and shared peace. Quiet on the site is important to us. Please be considerate of neighbours and other guests, especially in the evening and at night. Music and noise must always be adapted to the atmosphere of the site so that everyone can enjoy the calm of nature. Traffic Traffic on the site must be at low speed for the safety of children, animals, and general wellbeing. Help us We kindly ask all guests to help keep the site clean and use the provided waste stations. ________________________________________ 8. Guest responsibility The renter of cabins, rooms, and holiday homes is fully liable for the inventory in the accommodation. Damages caused by the renter will be charged upon departure. The person who made the booking is also liable for damages caused by accompanying guests. The booking person is responsible for all travelling guests. The number of guests must not exceed the number booked. ________________________________________ 9. Liability and valuables Gl. Ålbo Camping is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to guests’ belongings. ________________________________________ 10. Rental equipment When renting equipment (e.g. boats, SUP, etc.), separate liability and safety documents must be signed. ________________________________________ 11. Gift cards General Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable. Gift cards are bearer instruments and cannot be replaced if lost. Validity Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Right of withdrawal A 14-day right of withdrawal applies to the purchase of gift cards. ________________________________________ 12. Complaints At Gl. Ålbo Camping we do everything to make your stay special. However, errors may occur. If you are dissatisfied, please contact reception immediately. If accommodation is not properly cleaned or has damages that were not noticed, please contact reception immediately after arrival so the issue can be resolved. Complaints about cleaning made only at departure will not be accepted. Gl. Ålbo Camping cannot be held responsible for animals and insects, as the site is located in a natural coastal environment. Complaints after departure must be submitted within a reasonable time – preferably within 7 days – to info@gl-aalbo.dk. ________________________________________ 13. Force majeure Gl. Ålbo Camping is not liable for failure to fulfil the agreement due to force majeure or similar circumstances, including but not limited to: war, unrest, natural disasters, oil and fuel rationing, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics, suspension of currency trading, unusual weather conditions, drought, floods, border closures, traffic conditions, strikes, lockouts, and similar events that could not be foreseen at the time of agreement. In such cases, Gl. Ålbo Camping is entitled to cancel the agreement without liability. You will be informed as soon as possible. You will generally receive a refund or a credit note of your choice. ________________________________________ 14. Prices and discounts Prices are indexed and may be adjusted continuously. The price valid at the time of booking is binding. Current prices are available on our website. Discounts cannot be combined. ________________________________________ 15. Data collected We process the following data in connection with bookings: • Name • Address • Phone number • E-mail address • Payment information • Information about the stay Purpose We process your data in order to: • manage your booking • collect payment • fulfil our agreement with you • comply with legal obligations (e.g. accounting law) Legal basis Processing is based on: • contract performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) • legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)) Disclosure Data is only shared when necessary, e.g. with: • payment providers • service providers (e.g. cleaning) • public authorities if required Storage Data is stored only as long as necessary: • accounting data up to 5 years according to law Your rights You have the right to: • access your data • rectification • erasure (where possible) • objection • restriction of processing Contact: info@gl-aalbo.dk Complaint You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
